Family and friends gathered for their summer wedding just outside Asheville, in the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains on Claxton Farm. The day was complete with farm animal fraternizing, lawn games, pasture walks, live music, and dancing.
The afternoon began with a downpour of rain and thunder. It broke just in time for Alice and Pete’s first photos and didn’t pick up again until the end of the evening.
I first met Alice and Pete when I covered Pete’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. It was a delight to rejoin their family for another uniting celebration.
