Intimate Mountain Wedding

After the flowers, it was no surprise to discover the many other details Myra approached hands-on for their wedding day. From the cake to her dress to the wine glass corks with names of each guest formed in gold wire (yep, she did each one). She made them herself. I never saw them, but there was also talk of their invitations... Apparently they were awesome and made with TLC by Myra and Alex.

The tone of their weekend was personal, authentic, and seeped in the love and support of friends and family. A close friend led the ceremony; a cousin played the violin; an aunt made her famous cake; someone else grabbed artisan donuts; and many more unique and significant offerings came together to make this day true to Myra and Alex and the rich community they call their own.

It was also the groom's mother's 60th birthday! Their special acknowledgement of her was a surprise during the reception.
